Mowing Height Tips
Cutting your grass too short can stress the lawn, dry it out faster, and make weeds easier to spread.
For most lawns, it is better to keep the grass a little taller, especially during hot Kelowna summers.
A good rule is to only cut about one-third of the grass blade at a time. Taller grass helps shade the soil, hold moisture, and keep the lawn healthier.
At Mullet Man Mowing, we mow at a height that keeps your lawn looking clean without cutting it too short and damaging the grass.
